After seven years of marriage, one of Hollywood’s most prominent “power couples” is ending their marriage.

It’s not Brad and Angelina, who have been on a kind of relationship death watch nearly since they hooked up. Kate Winslet, 34, and her director husband Sam Mendes, 44, both Oscar winners hailing from Reading in England, are calling it quits.

People has the details:

“Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier this year,” their lawyers say in a statement. “The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children.”

Mendes and Winslet have a son together, a 6-year-old named Joe. Winslet has a 9-year-old daughter named Mia from her previous marriage to Jim Threapleton. The couple have became involved in 2001, when Mendes contacted Winslet about starring in two theatre productions in London. Mendes won an Oscar in 2000 for his work on film American Beauty, and Winslet nabbed Best Actress in 2009 for The Reader.

Katie Price is banning pink from her forthcoming wedding.

The glamour model is set to tie the knot with Alex Reid again this summer, following claims their nuptials in Las Vegas last month weren’t legal, and while she is planning a huge $1.5 million bash, she doesn’t want her favorite color to be part of the day because it reminds her too much of when she wed ex-husband Peter Andre.

A source said, “It’s set to be as star-studded as her first wedding. The marquee should be filled with English country garden-style flowers including calla lilies, lavender and dahlias. Guests will be welcomed with champagne and canapes and cupcakes. They will be picked up by coach and taken to a top secret location on the day.

“But one thing the wedding won’t be is pink. She’s been there done that. She’s moved on.”

Katie – who has three children, Harvey, seven, Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii, from previous relationships – wants the wedding to be very extravagant and is keen for the Black Eyed Peas to perform at the reception.

The source added, “The more extravagant and romantic the better for Katie. She wants a traditional English theme, but likes the idea of a fairground element and pony rides for the kids. She wants a big performer, too. She’s hot on the Black Eyed Peas and is in touch with will.i.am.”

Katie and Alex, who began dating last July, wed in Las Vegas on February 2 but it has since been claimed Reverend Mose Henney who conducted the ceremony did not have a proper license after he had to resign following a sex scandal.

There’s light at the end of the very long tunnel- HBO has finally released a premiere date for Season Three of the popular vampire drama. Season Two left things on a bit of a cliffhanger, with the ostensibly forcible disappearance of one of Sookie’s many supernatural suitors and a hanging marriage proposal. HBO announced the plans on True Blood’s Facebook fan page (no teasers, though, much to everyone’s disappointment) and MTV had this to say about the widespread anticipation:

This is so exciting for oh-so-many reasons (you know, besides the fact that Alexander Skarsgard will finally return — naked — to our living rooms), but because we don’t have enough time or space to list them all, just know that this chapter of the show will flaunt a badass new werewolf (who comes complete with real wolves), a new boy toy for Lafayette, a new girl for boy toy Jason Stackhouse, an “erotic connection” between Sam and Bill and, last but not least, cameos by Godric!!

Although introduction of a date is definitely a positive development, we’ve still got almost three months to wait until the first episode of True Blood hit airwaves on June 13th, which is kind of a bummer.

Brazilian model –Jesus Luz who has been in a relationship with the ‘4 Minutes’ singer for around 15 months, feels like he has a complete family of his own since he started dating the 51-year-old star, who has four children, Lourdes, 13, Rocco, nine, Mercy, five, and four-year-old David.

The 23-year-old hunk told Brazil’s RG Vogue magazine, “I consider myself a married man. I have a family. At my age, my father was also married. My mother gave birth to me when she was 15.”

It has been claimed the ‘Celebration’ singer banned her boyfriend from partying with Lindsay Lohan at the VIP Room nightspot in Paris, France recently.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper, “Lindsay got her people to phone the club to try and hang out with him. She knew he was hosting a night there with Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz.

“But when Madonna’s people heard, they put a block on it. Jesus wasn’t one to argue, he didn’t want to upset Madonna and was just there to work. Lindsay had to make to with a night in her hotel.”

Miley Cyrus’ mother had a crush on her boyfriend.

The 17-year-old actress fell for Australian actor Liam Hemsworth when they starred together in new movie ‘The Last Song’ and the ‘Hannah Montana’ star admits she initially didn’t want to date the 19-year-old hunk because he is “too pretty”.

She said, “I don’t know who had a bigger crush on him at the beginning, my mom or me. I was like, ‘No, maybe he’s just too pretty. I don’t want to be with someone who’s better looking than me. That’s like awkward.’ ”

Liam has also spoken about how the pair gradually became closer during shooting, on which Miley’s mother Tish was the executive producer, because they were “each other’s only friend”.

He said, “We spent a lot of time together. We’re shooting together every day and together on weekends and we were kind of each other’s only friends down there. We just got really close… We enjoyed being around each other.”

While the pair got to act out their feelings for one another on screen, Liam was always cautious if they had any kissing scenes because Miley’s family were often on set.

He told Entertainment Tonight, “Her mom was watching. Her grandma was also watching, which was really funny.

“She was on set everyday and she’d be right at the monitor with the headphones on… She should have been directing the film. She knew more about it than anyone. Intimacy’s always tough. I feel like it’s the hardest thing for me as an actor.”

Mark Owen’s wife is taking him back for the sake of their children.

Emma Ferguson has told the Take That singer they owe it to 15-month old daughter Willow Rose and son Elwood, three, to try and work things out after he confessed last week to having sex with 10 other women during his relationship with her.

A source close to the family said, “Emma will do absolutely anything for her beautiful children. Mark has been a complete idiot, which he openly admits, but it doesn’t stop him being a brilliant dad.

“He dotes over those kids and Emma knows it. It’s a long road ahead. But for the sake of their children, she will forgive him.”

Mark, 38, has checked into rehab to get help for alcohol dependency since his admission to Emma and has vowed to stay there “indefinitely” until he overcomes his problem.

A source close to him told The Sun newspaper, “He begged her to give him time to prove he can give up drinking forever.

“He said he might feel strong enough to come home after just one week, or it might take a month or more.

“He is doing everything to convince her he is worth staying with.”

Emma, 33, has been comforted by friends at the family’s home in London.

She now needs time to work out how she can fully forgive Mark, who she married last November after five years together.

A friend added, “Emma wants so much to believe this could never happen again – she just needs time to heal and consider whether she can fully forgive.”

Mark’s bandmates – Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Jason Orange – are lending him their full support, as well as former Take That star Robbie Williams.

Emma Watson has split from her boyfriend of two years.

The ‘Harry Potter’ actress has decided to end her relationship with financier Jay Barrymore, with friends blaming their long-distance romance as the reason for the break-up.

Emma, who is currently living in America as she studies at Brown University, while Jay is in the UK, is now said to be seeking comfort with fellow student and Spanish musician Rafael Cebrian, reports the Mail on Sunday newspaper.

A source said, “Emma and Jay were in trouble for months and with Emma at Brown University in America, the transatlantic gap proved too much for their relationship to survive. Emma has been spending a lot of time with Rafael and they are virtually inseparable.”

The two have become so close, Rafael has even persuaded Emma to take part in a forthcoming coming university production of Chekhov’s ‘Three Sisters’.

Despite her worldwide fame, Emma has previously revealed she is “too busy” to go off the rails.

The 19-year-old beauty, who shot to fame aged 11 playing brain-box student Hermione Granger in the wizarding franchise, insists the only reason she hasn’t followed in the footsteps of other child stars and partied too hard is because she works so hard.

She said, “I can totally understand why young actors go nuts. The level of interest in their lives, the pressure to be perfect – that’s what you do, you screw up.

“I don’t know why I haven’t gone off the rails. I don’t have time. I’m working too hard to be of the rebellious nature.”

David Schwimmer, the actor best known for his portrayal of Rachel-obsessed Paleontologist Ross Geller on 90s NBC hit Friends, has gotten engaged.

Schwimmer, 45, reportedly met 24-year-old photographer Zoe Buckman on the set of the film Run, Fatboy, Run in 2007 when she was working as a waitress. Prior to his involvement with Buckman, Schwimmer was involved with singer Natalie Imbruglia, French actress Emmanuelle Perret and Israeli actress Mili Avital. In the years since Friends ended, Schwimmer has voiced characters for the animated Madagascar movies, as well as doing stints on 30 Rock and HBO comedies Curb Your Enthusiasm and Entourage. He was working in a directorial capacity on Run, Fatboy, Run when he met his fiance.

Schwimmer’s agent confirmed the engagement to Entertainment Weekly. It will be the first marriage for both.

Cheryl Cole has met with Prince Charles’ former divorce lawyer to discuss her separation from her husband.

The ‘Fight for This Love’ singer, who met with her soccer player spouse Ashley Cole last Friday, March 12, for the first time since his alleged infidelities was revealed, has reportedly visited Fiona Shackleton in a bid to legally end her marriage as quickly as possible.

A source told the Mail Online website, “Cheryl is being told she should not drag this through the courts. Lawyers for Ashley could build a case that she wasn’t the perfect wife either.

“She has hardly seen him for months on end due to work and her mother Joan’s presence in the house has hardly been conducive to romance.”

It is unclear whether or not Cheryl has formally asked the Payne Hicks Beach law firm, who represented the British prince during his divorce from the late Princess Diana and Sir Paul McCartney during his split from Heather Mills.

The 26-year-old beauty has been told their assets are likely to be divided equally, because they have been married for less than four years.

Their lavish home, a six-bedroom mansion in Surrey believed to be worth $9 million, will also be put up for sale and the profit split.

As well as Ashley’s alleged cheating, it has been claimed the couple often rowed about Cheryl’s friendship with Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am.

The hip-hop star, who produced Cheryl’s solo album ‘3 Words,’ admitted at the weekend he would move to Britain “if it meant being with her.”

A source explained, “will.i.am’s comments about his wife are not news or a surprise to Ashley. He and Cheryl rowed about it last year.

“She’s done absolutely nothing wrong but Ashley’s sick of this man openly making advances toward her.”

Despite these tensions, Cheryl, who has been forced to cancel several public appearances after falling unwell with bronchitis, was apparently pleased with her brief visit from Ashley went on Friday.

The 29-year-old sportsman went to their luxurious home to pick up some clothes and meet with Cheryl.

A source explained, “Cheryl was taken aback by how calm and civil it was. There were no shouting matches and he didn’t beg her to take him back.

“Meeting him was a big step for her. She can now concentrate on getting better and is desperate to get back to work and focus on her career. She just wants to move on.”

Sandra Bullock has “$900 guilt shoes” which she has never worn.

‘The Blind Side’ actress, who collected the Best Actress Oscar last week for her performance in the film, said she doesn’t like to shop because she feels pressured into buying expensive items she ends up never wearing.

She said, “I love clothes, but I don’t like to shop. I’ve learnt from painful mistakes about the pressure in the store to pay exorbitant amounts for stuff that isn’t right, and five years later it’s still in your closet with the tag on it. I have $900 guilt shoes. I’m thinking about putting them on a shelf with a spotlight on them to remind me about such mistakes.”

Sandra – who is married to TV presenter Jesse James, with whom she raises three children, also said people don’t understand when she is being sarcastic, especially when she send them SMS messages.

She added, “Oh yes, I’m sarcastic all the time, especially in texts, but people seem to miss it. You can’t do inverted commas on the phone. I need some sort of sarcasm mark, it would make relationships so much easier.”

Meanwhile, She has recently revealed she wants her Oscar placed on the front of her car.

She said, “I’m going to have Jesse weld the Oscar to the hood of the car.

“It will be there to remind me as I do the school and grocery runs. I’m taking my award food shopping. More people will see it.”
